Plans for a five-story apartment building with ground-floor retail just blocks from the Interbay Golf Center will return to the West Design Review Board for a recommendation meeting next week.
The project at 2258 15th Ave. W. — which calls for 32 residential units and parking for 21 vehicles — received mostly positive feedback from the board last June, during its Early Design Guidance meeting. A pair of existing single-family residences at 2254 and 2258 15th Ave. W. would be demolished under the proposal.
Umtanum Build LLC of Bellevue is listed as the site’s developer, with Seattle firm Workshop AD serving as project architects.
The meeting starts at 8 p.m. at the Queen Anne Community Center (1901 1st Ave. W.), after the board reviews a proposed 13-story addition to the Firestone Auto Supply and Service Building in South Lake Union.
Comments on design considerations regarding the development may be submitted through April 17 via email to PRC@seattle.gov, or to City of Seattle – SDCI – PRC, 700 5th Avenue, Suite 2000, PO Box 34019, Seattle, WA 98124-4019.
