Têt in Seattle
Vietnamese Lunar New Year Celebration
Feb. 10 – 11
Seattle Center Armory and Fisher Pavilion

During the New Year, the Vietnamese prepare Banh Chung (sticky rice cake) as a tribute to their ancestors. They wrap glutinous rice, flavored meats and vegetables in banana leaves, then slowly steam the cakes in a stockpot to bring forth their savory richness.
